I have a slightly different problem iwht shipping - I have a shipping cost
but cannot change the shipping mode,

I did a test in which I just created a new account, then set the
shipping address (using a Netscape4 browser) and changed the country
to UK.

However, under 'Choose your shipping method' changing the
mode by either of the methods does not appear to work:

1) Use Netscape4 and select International Surface - browser
sends the form data and page updated

2) Use Netscape3 ,select International Surface, then click on Update

I also noticed these errors appeared in the error.log files when
first trying to save the shipping info.

Error A)
There is no row with index '' at
/dsk1/users/mvend/mvend-3.12b/lib/Vend/UserDB.pm line 722

Hmm - cannot get this to reproduce - It happened with the very first
session just after setting up a new account. I'll try removing the
user database.
OK thats done it.
The scenario is:
	brand new userdb
create new account 'Test User' logged is an 'testuser'
	go to checkout
users name is not echoed on top of checkout, only the
		loginname
fill in address, change country (use an old browser)
click on update - form is updated and user's name now
echoed on top of checkout form
Hi Test User! you are logged in as testuser
type something in the Shipping NickName box
	click on SaveShipping

Error B)
simple /cgi-bin/simple/about Safe: syntax error at (eval 53) line 1, near
") 555"

Not sure what I did to cause this !

Error C)
Runtime error: no nickname? at
/dsk1/users/mvend/mvend-3.12b/lib/Vend/UserDB.pm line 706.

THis can be reproduced by first setting up a Nickname for
shippping info, then clicking on 'saveshipping' button
next to 'You can save the shipping address to an entry in your address
book.', without having checked the box next to the button.
Or even easier, for a new user, just click on 'saveshipping' with
the nickname field blank,
