Hi Ron,

regarding interfaces to databases.. when using MySQL, you might try
to use the X-tools or, use ODBC drivers for access with M$-Access.

If you want to let your customers update its databases, you have
to write "views" in M$-Access for UPDATEd, INSERTed and DELETEd rows
in your databases, reflecting at this point to the proper SQL-
statements.

This can be done using M$-Access "Views", you would have to install
all the stuff (access-db including views + macros for this,
mysql-driver) at your customers computer and he will be able to
do anything on his database-tables without locking them to minivend.

Regards,
Michael Radke
