And I will add mine -- HTML mail is not welcome on this list. I don't
notice it much as my mailer (mutt, which is a great elm replacement)
seems to eliminate it from my view. But this list has enough traffic as
it is, and doesn't need the doubling of byte size on the messages. 
HTML also screws up the digesting.

Since this list is still a (I hope benevolent) dictatorship, you can
consider the charter to read "ASCII format for mail, no HTML is allowed".

If anyone wants to debate this further, look up the long-running thread
on news.admin.net-abuse.usenet and read all 2000+ messages. If you can
find anything to add to that, feel free to post it. 8-)
