without testing my idea, try this:

- rename your results page like more.html
- create a new results page like results.html with the code like

[if value mv_search_match_count = 1]

[search-region send=1]
[search-list]
[tag op=header interpolate=1]
Status: 302 moved
Content-type: text/html
Location: [area href="[item-code]" send=1]]
[/search-list]
[/search-region]

If you use WIN as a webserver, let me know.
