Re: Interneal server error (Solve); Sorting problem!
****** message to minivend-users from "Hans-Joachim Leidinger" <hans-joachim.leidinger@home.gelsen-net.de> ******
Hello list,
i have found the error! It was a typo in my srchformpage!
This was wrong <OPTION VALUE="author:">[L]Author[/L] and this is right
<OPTION VALUE="author">[L]Author[/L]!
(BTW: Someone has write a privat email to me and has explain me the
split problem in perl, if there is a space in a field! My email program
has break down suddenly and i have lost this email! Can someone post the
email once more to me?)
I have a new problem with sorting items in my resultspage! The problem
is, the sorting of items is well by each page! How can i get a rigth
sort of items during all page? I.e. i get 100 items and the sort_field
is the "title"-field! All of the first 30 items with the beginning
character "a" is to show at the first 3 page and not anywhere or at
last!
I have try to presorting the items with the code like
<INPUT TYPE=hidden NAME=mv_sort_field VALUE="[value sort_field1]">
, but i get success only, if i use the srchform with the same conditions
two times!
I see the value of mv_sort_field and the value of the sort_field1 is not
the same first time!
I.e.
1. Try:
mv_sort_field is [value sort_field1] and sort_field1 is title per
default
I get a right list with right sorting in all resultspage.
2. Try:
mv_sort_field is [value sort_field1] and sort_field1 is author
I get the same list above (sorting by title) and the value of
sort_field1 is author and the value of mv_sort_field is title.
3. Try:
I try the 2. Try once more, also mv_sort_field is [value sort_field1]
and sort_field1 is author
I get a right list with right sorting in all page and the value of both
field are the same.
4. Try:
mv_sort_field is [value sort_field1] and sort_field1 is price
I get the same list like the 3. Try (sorting by title) and the value of
sort_field1 is price and the value of mv_sort_field is author.
5.Try:
The same like the 4. Try! I get a right list with a right sorting in all
page!
The part from srchform.html is:
<FORM ACTION="[process-target main]" METHOD=POST><INPUT TYPE=hidden
NAME=mv_search_map VALUE="
mv_searchspec=search12
mv_searchspec=search14
mv_searchspec=search1
