Your posts, as you just said on the user-list, always cause an
avalanche. 8-)

After Mike Heins' wonderful announcement to give away MaxiVend, there
might be the sun rising on the doc-list, after we all might have to go
through the stormy snowfall, which will blur our sight, accompanying
the expected avalanche of posts of volunteer helpers flooding in.

Let me just say here, that I am very happy to hear that Mrs. Heins
and Mike Heins' children finally have found THE TOOL (couldn't have 
been a screw-driver, could it ?) to get him back to a more humane life.

I never had the pleasure to meet Mike Heins' family, but having
been a long-distance customer since three years with very generous
priviledges, including constant open access to his server, I have
watched him working thousands of hours online, be it just monitoring
the systenm, or programming. He worked very DEFINITELY much too
much. The only thing which I can say, I believe, he seemed to have 
REALLY liked to work on MiniVend. Nothing else than being happy doing
what he was doing, can explain his commitment.

It would be a very fine accomplishment, if some skilled people could
write a MaxiVend documentation and help us understand using it, and
give Mike Heins and his family the life- and working-style they
surely all deserve.

Thanks again Mike, it was a great learning experience (though
I will "NEVAIRBE" a programmer 8-)) to watch your project unfolding
from very early on.
