RE: Proxy Error Problems

Ok, this may seem stupid, but it may be a derivative of the problem.  Is you friend able to do anything through port 80?  Try forcing a ping through that port:

ping 000.000.000.000:80  (that should work as long as you put in a valid IP address, but I'm not proxy god, so who knows...)

Subject: Proxy Error Problems

******    message to minivend-users from Doug Whitman <dougw@bransonbelle.com>     ******

MV users,

I have a friend that's telling me that she's not able to enter my
catalog, she's getting a "proxy error" and blank page.  She is using
Internet Explorer from behind a firewall.  I have <IpHead Yes> and
<DomainTail No> in my minivend.cfg file.  This is not just a
secure-server problem, she can't even see the first page.  Has anyone
faced similar problems and can you suggest a fix?

Thx, Doug.
