Re: Subcatalog Bug?

Hi Pable,

Here is my own way of how to create subcatalog. (if anybody think i'm
wrong, please correct me, thanx).

#######in Minivend.cfg

Catalog simple /home/minivend/catalogs/simple /cgi-bin/simple /simple
Subcatalog easy simple /home/minivend/catalogs/simple /cgi-bin/easy

#######in catalog.cfg
- no change

#######in easy.cfg (put in the same directory as catalog.cfg)
Variable SERVER_NAME 206.111.118.118
Variable CGI_URL /cgi-bin/test93s
Variable ORDERS_TO pumin@hotmail.com
Variable IMAGE_DIR /images/test93s
Variable SAMPLEHTML /home/httpd/html/test93s

PageDir pages
DataDir products
ScratchDir tmp
Database products products.asc TAB

NewTags Yes
ParseVariables Yes
VendURL http://__SERVER_NAME____CGI_URL__
ImageDir __IMAGE_DIR__/
ParseVariables No

#############

And this subcatalog will share same session, products, userdb, checkout
etc. with the main catalog. (also i did copy the vlink of /cgi-bin/simple
to /cgi-bin/easy. ) Then restart Minivend, call the cgi-bin/easy, and you
should be fine.

Best Regards,
Pumin@hotmail.com
