Hi Racke,
thank you for the answer.
<<Seems that your system is really hosed up.>>
that's possible, I guess the path of my perl installation cause that but I'
m not sure.
at the other hand it works until " -> THE FIRST ERROR STARTS HERE" so
perl works to this
point ok
perhaps something is happen with the source of a file ?
(for that reason I tried to install it for 3 times)

The make test works fine (2 tests run, all tests successful.)

Now I launch "make install"
All works fine, now it ask me for :

Get Term::ReadKey module? [yes]
Get MB5 module? [yes]
Get SQL::Statement module? [yes]
Get MIME::Base64 module? [yes]
Get URI::URL module? [yes]

Entering /mvend.

User who will run MiniVend? John
Group to own MiniVend? [users]
Checking for gcc...
...
...
creating ./config.status
(-> THE FIRST ERROR STARTS HERE )
./configure: mv: command not found
grep: conftest.vals: no such file or directory
creating syscfg
creating config.h
./config.status: mv: command not found
cat: conftest. in: No such file or directory
./config.status: mv: command not found
Compiling, this may take a sec...vlink.c:24: config.h: no such file or
directory

compiliation of vlink.c FAILED
tlink.c:26: config.h: No such file or directory

Compiliation of tlink.c FAILED
done.

That takes care of the program configuration.

The compilation of one or both link programs (tlink and/or
 vlink) failed. You may be able to use the Perl-based tlink.pl
 program along with starting the server in INET mode (start_inet)
 to make MiniVend work.
 Using vlink.pl requires either that your installation use
 CGIWRAP or that you compile it with a wrapper such as the Perl
 example 'wrapsuid' program.

thank's

Ron

Seems that your system is really hosed up. The command mv, a basic
utility, cannot be executed. What says "which mv" ?

Ciao
