mv_value and flypage.html

Is there a way to pass a variable via va=value=Value to the flypage? I can send
variables to results.html without any problem, via scan. But whey I try to send
that variable on to the flypage, it seems to break the link to the individual
item.
Here is what I've tried:
[page href="[item-code]" arg="va=nav_graphic=[value nav_graphic]" send=1]<IMG
ALT="[L]More Info[/L]" BORDER=0 SRC="details.gif">[/page]
This almost works; it gets the variable into the URL. Unfortunately, it seems
to break the URL, and you end up with a "Sorry, there is no page for that item"
error page.
