Though it should not make a difference, try logging is as the MV user
and restarting the catalog. Also, are you trying to access the catalog
as root? I assumed not, as Netscape does not run as root, normally.
Which browser are you using? If you have Apache-ssl installed, did you
edit the httpd.conf and srm.conf for it also? When making the catalog,
did you set it up to use a specefic port or to use the standard name for
your server.
Sorry for the questions, but I'm just going thru all the crap that I
have screwed around with when I got that same error. It is usually the
permissions as they say. BTW; if your system uses a single
/usr/lib/cgi-bin as the location for all of your cgi scripts, you may
have to use cgi-wrappers or give your MV user permission to access
these files. Hope some of this helps. Any of you gurus feel free to jump
in here any time.
