Re: [mv] Authorize.Net Docs?

Sorry all, replied to wrong message last time!

Tev,

I have gotten Authorizenet to work with minivend seemlessly, but it does
require SSLeay to run. Their are many views on the RSA patent and you
should really check out :
http://www.cyberlaw.com/rsa.html
for some good information on the patent.

The only way I know of using Authorizenet with out the above coming into
play is to use Authorizenets weblink where you generate the form which
posts to authorizenet. There are 2 ways to do this:

1) Easy: complete cart sale (NO CHARGE IS DONE YET) and on the
receipt page you could generate the form to post to authorizenet.
This is messy and you get orders for which no payment may be made!

2) Hard: On the last checkout page produce the form for authorizenet, and
be sure to pass the cart id along in a USER field. then set up authorizenet
to post back to a cgi script (That you build) in that script you will need to
redirect the browser back to a success or fail page within the cart in a URL
format that includes the cart ID and formatted for minivend. The success
page then should finalize the order.

Unfortunately I've never done these types of interfaces so I can't step you
through
it.
