products.asc
I have found a solution for my problem in some colleagues who have
previously used the system, however, i still run into a problem. I am
using the ProductFiles directive to specify which tables i want to use
rather than a specific 'products' table. I quote a posting by Mike Heins
on Wed, 28 May 1997:
As of MiniVend 3.0, more than one database may be used as
a products file.
and...
But you don't need the products
database, per se, any more.
I am still getting the error "Couldn't open
'/catalogs/artoncanvas/products/products.asc' read/write: No such file or
directory." Why, if I have specified tables to be used as ProductFiles, is
it still searching for the products.asc file. Nowhere in catalog.cfg does
a reference to products.asc show up. Is there a global setting I need to
check somewhere? Your help is appreciated.
