[mv] problems setting EURO locale

Hello,

I am using this code

 <TD ALIGN=RIGHT>[total-cost]<br>
 [setlocale eur_EUR]
   ([total-cost])<br><!-- the euro -->
 [setlocale]</TD>  

as shown in example in the FAQ page.

The proble is that, later int the page, I show the price of the shipping
and it also gets shown in EUROS, even though in the code above I use
[setlocale] toset the locale back to whatever it was.

The code is:

<SELECT MV=loop MV.ARG="[data
                         table=country
                         key='[default country US]'
                         sf=selector
                         col=shipmodes
                        ]"
        MV.OPTION="mv_shipmode"
        onChange="this.form.submit()"
        NAME="mv_shipmode">
<OPTION VALUE="[loop-code]"> [shipping-desc [loop-code]] [shipping
[loop-code]]
    </SELECT>

Any hints on how to solve this?
