Re: [mv] [mvasp] vs. [perl] - Large Speed Difference
****** message to minivend-users from Lee Nelson <jld123@pobox.com> ******
Mike,
Thanks for the pointer. I found that setting 'hot' to one
increased the speed of output by 3 times, comparable with the
speed of the [mvasp] tag.
However, I also noticed that when using 'hot' and HTML
within a [perl] tag, that the output was the very first thing
sent to the browser, before even the static text (<HTML>, etc.)
that preceded the [perl] tag.
I've been digging through the Minivend code and can't
figure this one out. Could you please tell me how to make
[perl] output with 'hot' appear at the correct place
in the document?
Again, I am using Minivend 4.04.
Thanks much,
Lee Nelson
