If web server dies, it is bigger than minivend.  "occasionally seems to
fail" is a bit vague; you don't know for sure?  If you are very confident
of your system installation, start swapping chips.  If it will take you
a couple of weeks to know if things are any different, just swap the 
machine and play with it offline.
