Why not just save the whole display in a scratch variable and recall
it if it is set? Then go to the just the page with mv_nextpage.

[if cgi mv_order_item]
[and scratch yourstuff]
    [scratch yourstuff]
[else]
    [seti yourstuff]
	    [search-region]
		    etc. etc.
	    [/search-region]
    [/seti]
    [scratch yourstuff]
[/else]
[/if]

This thing about wanting to order and stay on the same page
drives me crazy.
