[ic] Quick Question: item-accessories vs item_accessories

Hello All,
    IC 4.8.6
    Perl 5.6.1
    Cobalt Raq 4
    Is there any paricular reason why item-accessories "remembers" the 
value that was selected, and item_accessories doesn't.

Ex.
[item-accessories size]
returns a select box with 1,2,3,4 etc/
and will retain the selected value in the next display/reload

whereas [item_accessories size] doesn't.
