[mv] value mv_searchspec not substituted

I have the following line in my results.html file:

I expect to get:

HREF="http://www.server.com/cgi-bin/mystore/scan/di=category/df=yes/dl=Categ
ory1"?AfiJMDba;;109">Category1</A>

But I get:
<A
HREF="http://www.server.com/cgi-bin/mystore/scan/di=category/df=yes/dl=%22%5
bvalue%20mv_searchspec%5d%22?AfiJMDba;;109">Category1</A>

What could be the problem?
