Re: [mv] Minimate Web-Access - how?

****** message to minivend-users from Grant van Riessen <vanriess@central.murdoch.edu.au> ******

Harry,

For the sake of understanding how Minimate and Minivend share their user
info together, see the file minimate.asc and the userdb table of your
database. minimate.asc lists users and has a field, super, to indicate
whether a user has permission to modify the database etc. with MiniMate.
The password however, is matched against the password in the userdb.

I had the same problem yesterday so I created a user called admin from
minivend store, and manually set the Super value to 1. From memory though,
I think makecat asks the appropriate questions to take care of this now (MV
4.02, latest MM).

Regards,
Grant
