[mv] Global Subs

****** message to minivend-users from Cameron Prince <PRINCECB@novachem.com> ******

Is it possible to allow a global sub to run a program in a shell of it’s
own?

I added the “&” character to the end of program command line in an attempt
to make it spawn a new process, but it’s not working.

I have confirmed this by adding a sleep function. When the page is loaded
that calls the global sub, Minivend pauses the entire sleep duration and
then the page loads. If I vary the sleep time, I vary the time Minivend
takes to load the page.

So I know it’s not spawning into a process of it’s own, independent of
Minivend as I need it to.

Thanks,

Cameron
