Hard to see how it could be easier.
1. Get software. Unpack
2. ./configure --with-perl --enable-locale; make ; make install
3. start postmaster
4. initdb
5. createdb minivend-demo
:-)
(OK, there is a little shuffle with user roles; make install is best done as
root; the rest as user postgres).
