My reasoning for including the comment suggestion was that when I want
something hidden, I usually use a scratch variable. I sometimes use the
commented output as debugging information, which can be helpful.
But, to tell the truth, I didn't know about the hide=1 tag. Is this a MV wide
tag that I can add to other tags (ie, interpolate style?)
