A couple of weeks ago I gave a talk on camps at YAPC::Europe in Riga, 
Latvia:

A brief report on the talk:

There were around 35-40 attendees. Their questions were good and showed 
that they understood what camps are all about.

Among those who have created their own camp-like development environments, 
it seems that the least-developed area is in the database, where many 
still had all developers sharing a single development database with toy 
data or a stale copy of production.
