+ When using the Computer sampledata:
+ In the Admin UI, under Design:
+ When selecting to auto-populate the area/categories, half the categories do not 
+ show up.  All area's are populated correctly with the prod_group, but a few of 
+ those prod_group categories end up empty.  The list of categories is missing 
+ half of the available categories that should be there.  
+ My guess is there is a bad character in the name of a category in the products 
+ db somewhere, but I can't find it.
