------- Additional Comments From admin@ns.stikalo.net 2001-03-20 06:33 -------
we have tested this on windows with iso-8895-2 character set ,slovenian
language internet explorer 5.5,and in linux on netscape with iso-8859-2
character set,and in all cases interchange changes the "èæžšð" characters. So
when we import an excel page with correctly formated words they end up being
changed by interchange in the admin dialogs(we added html to use only iso-8895-
2 character set so this can't be the problem),plus when we export the products
to an xml sheet they are again changed and totally useless.
I'm only reporting this bug because I haven't seen any document on how to setup
interchange to work correctly with slovenian language and display the
characters correctly. We can not import the products and then have some
secretary use the admin dialogs and not be able to read anything in there.
at first it only displayed the characters incorrectly in the admin UI dialogs
but when we exported them and them inported them back in even te static pages
were formated incorrectly.
If you have ANY links to pages using iso-8859-2 character set basically serbian
croatian slovenian or any similar pages it would be very helpfull, since they
might be able to tell us what we are doing wrong,if this is really not an
interchange problem.
thank you
