I'm interested in resolving this.  I can't find a core module that will validate IPv6 but RegEXP::IPv6 looks simple enough to copy into a Vend::Util function.  I'm tempted to go that route instead of adding yet-another-module-dependancy to Interchange.

Thoughts?
