Well, it seems this has nothing to do with interchange, but your
database dbi adapter (client) and server are not the same version. This
depends very much on your setup, but you might try

a) recompile/install your dbi database adaptor (assuming new db client
libraries are already there)

b) recompile/install your db client libraries and then recompile/install
your dbi adapter
