[ic] Are there any Simple Templates??

Try "view source" in your browser.  Many times that can tell you where to
change things, or you can look at the catalog sources (such as index.html).
Much of it is regular html that is easy to edit with your favorite text
editor.  the templates are located in templates/, and
templates/regions/LEFTRIGHT_TOP giving you some good abilities to change the
look of things.  You might try rooting around in there.
