[ic] Installs fine, but doesn't seem to run.

I have gone through the interchange installation
several times now, everything seems to be in order but
when I execute an su -c
"/usr/local/interchange/bin/interchange -r"
interchange

I am brought right back to a command prompt without
any output from interchange.  I have checked and there
are no processes running for it either?  My error.log
is empty, and I'm not sure what to try next.
