I'm new to Interchange but I've found the install and configuration to =
be very reasonable. I have encountered only one problem that I can't =
seem to get past. When I create a new catalog and configure it to use =
MySQL, I'm receiving error while trying to create the database indexes. =
The tables are all created but I receive the following error for every =
table:
table xxxxxxx index failed: Access denied for user: 'dgc@localhost' to =
database 'dgc'
I don't understand why I'm getting an access denied error for the index, =
but the tables are being created just fine. =20
Additional Information:
The site is hosted by an ISP and I only have access to a single MySQL =
database that is already created. I've provided the appropriate =
login/password information to the makecat script and it IS creating the =
tables so I know the connection to the database is working. Even with =
the index creation error I can access the Interchange store and perform =
just about every function. The only thing I've been unable to do is =
update the inventory. When I try I get this error 'Sorry, there was an =
error in processing this form action. Please report the error or try =
again later. (You have an error in your SQL syntax near '=3D NULL where =
sku =3D 'os28113' ' at line 1 )'. I'm not sure if this is related to =
the index problem, but that is where I'm starting.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
