[ic] performance statistucs?

Hey folks,

What's the heaviest load that IC has been known on support of various
configs?  I was hoping some of you could post some hit statistics,
(hits/day, orders/day, views, etc..)..  I'm planning a server that is going
to need to be able to support 100-200,000 hits/day at its peak (these are
IC page hits, not just straight http).  What things do I need to consider? 
Should it be a static or dynamic (I've seen mention of this options - high
volume/low volume settings in the .cfg's).

Any input from anyone who's done this will be greatly appreciated!
