Not a problem. I'm not even sure it's an SME specific problem.

This is what I figured. However, I've completed everything that I can
following the gsg and the how-to. I've search through the archives for that
specific error and found nothing that works for me. I've also ensured I
have chown and chgrp all interchange related files and directories to no
avail. I figured my only choice was to rerun makecat and tell it to use
suexec, but then the error with makecat reared its ugly head... Heck, I
even went as far as to remove everything and reinstall just in case I missed
something.

I did choose M and it's there in the group file.

I verified the directory permissions:

drwxr-xr-x 18 root root 4096 Jun 28 2000 usr

drwxr-xr-x 23 root root 8192 Dec 16 21:51 /usr/lib

drwxr-xr-x 13 interch interch 4096 Dec 16 21:52
/usr/lib/interchange
