Probably the reason for not quoting the entire response, is that this 
thread has been going for 30 or more iterations, and is getting dreadfully 
long.  At some point, you just have to truncate and start again.

Changing the Subject line would technically validate the loss of prior 
posts, but really wouldn't do you any favor in following the line of 
thought.  Indeed, it would be harder to locate the forgoing discussion.

You will have to wait for the archives to appear in a few hours....
