[ic] Challenge adding new Item

not having looked at the UI interface and actually added items on the demo
catalog, i can't tell you what fields it asks for. you can always edit the
UI's pages directly and add anything in that you feel is missing - they're
stored in interchange/lib/UI/pages off memory, or you can edit them on a
catalog-by-catalog basis by replicating the admin/ directory in your pages
directory, and placing the html in there. Either that, or add the items
using the "spreadsheet" functionality under the admin menu.
