Hmm.  Well, Outlook showed it as the main message, not an attachment-hence
the confusion.  Maybe it was just trying to be smart.  Sorry for othe
bother--one of the myriad things I haven't gotten around to studying in
detail yet is Email content types......

No, it is set up so that it disallows *main* content types of text/html and
multipart/alternative. The multipart/mixed type is allowed, with any
attachments you want to make.

On this list, it is nice every once in a while to attach a program,
document, or even an HTML file if it is meant as an attachment. 8-)
