What I'd suggest you do in this case is have the user click through to the
receipt page, and put the PayPal logo form on that page.  That way it will
be processed through IC, send the email and log to database, then the user
will click through to PayPal and enter their payment info.  I'd also suggest
on that page to make it very clear to them that they need to click through
to PayPal and fill out all the information there to complete the order, and
they will be returned to your site when that part is done.

Is it possible to get the submit button or the paypal button to (a) submit
the order details to interchange (but not the credit card stuff) and (b)
send the customer (with the [total-cost noformat=1], ) to paypal all in one
go - IE one button, one press?
