[ic] Losing affiliate at checkout

I have a catalog which has the non-secure site on one physical server 
and the secure part on another physical server. ie www.store.com is 
on server one secure .store.com is on server two.


I have been able to get the cart to work by making it always secure. 
The problem I have now is that if I come in through  an affiliate 
link the affiliate is gone when I get over  to the secure side.

Any ideas how to get the affiliate info over to the secure side. I 
did notice that with cookies turned on I get a new session id 
everytime I switch back and forth between the domains.

Has anybody gotten it to work having the cart on one server and the 
checkout on another?
