Use the folowing command to get your DBI and DBD for mysql up-to-date.
It will test the install automatically. Also I've had varied problems
connecting to mysql using localhost, so when the dbi portion of setup
comes I append this to the end of the dbi ":host=localhost.localdomain"
and it connects everytime.

Here's the commands to run froma prompt:
perl -MCPAN -e "install DBI"
and
perl -MCPAN -e "install DBD::mysql"

This will test and install what you need. If these are not completely
installed without errors, it won't work. Hope this helps, Robert
