[ic] Login + Cookies

When I log into an account on our system and have it setup to automatically
log me in I'm encountering two problems

1. The system is setting two identical cookies instead of just one.
2. After login every link now has its session id appended to its URL whereas
before login it doesn't.

I've confirmed this behaviour on the Interchange Demo site just incase there
was something wrong with my catalog.

Doesn't anybody have a fixed for these problems as I haven't been able to
determine why this is happening.
