Typically, you can't access them directly.  The [perl] and [mvasp]
blocks are some kind of "special" environment.  You should look at

(which is the section in the reference guide about the "Interchange
Perl Objects").  Additionally, the Tag Regeference shows how to access
the IC tags from within perl.  Personally, I really dig this kind of
IC development.  More and more I am making my pages one big [perl]
block.

You might ask why I even bother to use IC is almost all of my pages
are straight perl.  Well, IC provides some really handy mechanisms for
handling e-comm.  I could re-write them all in my own perl library,
but why?  Even if I did, it wouldn't be as well tested as IC.
