1) Check your permissions, make sure the images are owned
by the interchange user (usually interch).

2) Make sure there are no spaces in the file names.

3) Make sure you're putting your images in the correct
directory (this isn't as stupid as it sounds if you
have more than one catalog set up -- I've done it
myself. :)
