It depends on how you installed it.  From rpm, you can use a rpm gui, or
from the command line
rpm -e <package name>

Or if you installed from source,
rm -rf /path/to/ic
Do the same to the catalog directory if you haven't made any changes you
carea bout.

I am not sure about the debian packages (Racke?)
