I've trouble to understand the error message

/cgi-bin/ieos/admin/item.html search error: Function creation: bad
pattern: Unmatched ) before HERE mark 
in regex m/<A7><A7><A7>) << HERE .B/ at (eval 177) line 2.

right! It will bi very nice, if someone can give me a hint to try out
the cause of the above error messages.
