Howdy!

I would like to add more in depth traffic statistics to Interchange's
reports. I use Interchange version 4.8 on Red Hat 7.2 with a standard
foundation type catalog. The stats I'd like to add are:

really important
--------------------
refering URLs
refering search engines and keywords

not so important but would be really cool
---------------------
monitor resolution of visitors
country of visitors
browser of visitors
page of entry
exit page
files / douments / images downloaded if any
error messages
OS's of visitors
plug ins of browsers

I know webalizer outputs to mySQL and Interchange's reports will custom
read tables. . . .

webalizer also can be manipulated with php and mySQL so you don't have
to edit those dreaded webalizer.conf files and create a new directory
for every domain on the hosting server:

I have not attempted this but took a look at the article.

Anyone done anything along these lines?

I'm willing to trade for a 10 page, easy to read tutorial I give to my
clients that they use to prepare their images and product info for a
foundation type Interchange eCommerce website. I give them this
tutorial along with a sample.xls and template.xls file. I then upload
the images and .xls file into the web site. I specify in my contract (as
well as make it VERY CLEAR to the client) that any cleaning up or
further work that needs to be done to the database / images will be
charged by the hour. This makes my life MUCH easier.

I would not mind contributing this document to the list, but I would
like to get some sort of decent traffic solution for my server that does
not require paying an arm and a leg, trying to decipher someones cryptic
undocumented / unsupported code (I'm not much of a perl, php or cgi
programmer), or hand editing / saving configuration files for every
domain on my server (so far I've got over 40).

Thanks!
