Odd unless your search is defined to timeout and your system is so 
overloaded that it cannot spill out anything.  I have over 20,000 SKU's 
running GDBM, I know it should be SQL and that is the next step, but it 
can pull at least 5000 items before the timeout occurs and that is 
running on an old Dell single processing 800 Mhz system...  Check the 
timeouts and let us know what type of hardware you're running on...
