[ic] IC TAGS in Database Fields

Greetings,

I would like to include IC tags such as the page tag within descriptions in 
the database.  For instance, let's say that I want to tell people to view a 
specific product (and I want it to be part of the description ... not under 
a "you may also be interested in component), how would I best do that?

When I have tried, the tags appear on the HTML page un-parsed.
