[ic] Starting to reinstall everything again, maybe it will work

I have taken my machine, that I was trying to get Interchange installed on.
I never could get my admin section up and running, it would bring up Page
not found.
So I have formatted the machine, and reinstalled red hat back on.
I am in the process of getting to the interchange files to get them rpm'd to
my machine. I haven't installed them yet, but I am working on it.
But anyways I was wondering, when I come to install the interchange /
interchange foundation / interchange foundation demo files      is there
anything I need to know, like..can I rpm them as root? or do I have to be
another user?
