[ic] Adding values (tokens)

I am trying to add numbers that are contained in a field named "token" to
activate a discount. I got the discount part down from the docs, but now am
stumped as to how to qualify it.

Essentially, all items in products db have a "token" value field (each item
may be worth from 0 to 3), when the amount of the users purchase is greater
than 10 "tokens" then discount is applied.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
