verisign is conducting a beta test for "Shared Hosting Security Service,
which allow ISPs to take advantage of the operating simplicity of using one
Server ID per server to encrypt all communications for merchant customers
virtually hosting on a single server." which would allow one host to secure
(unlimited?) number of virtual hosts replete with their tag and insurance -

http://verisign.com/rsc/wp/certshare/authServ.html - you 'll have to work
your way through it.

you can sign up for it here: shared-ssl@verisign.com
